A Year In Prototype A Look Back at 2015

A fresh new year is upon us and there is no time like the present to reflect back on some of the highlights of 2015. This blog takes a look back at the memorable moments we had at Prototype Interactive this year.

IBX Award

Back in July, Prototype Interactive's work was recognised by winning the inaugural International Business Excellence Award for the region's first social bank. The award winners are hand-picked by business leaders from around the world and delivered by Awards International, an institute dedicated to recognising businesses that share best practices for promoting continuous improvement and development. We were humbled and honoured to receive the award for our efforts in social banking.

Office Expansion

In September we welcomed our new office expansion in our office located in Media City, Dubai. We had to deal with a little dust and disorganisation but the result was worth it. Take a look at this awesome time lapse of local artist Sya Graffiti doing his magic in our new offices.

In-House Developer Challenge

As apart of our agency life we host an annual in house developer challenge every year and this year our fab developer Khodor won. We really cherish these opportunities for our team to show off their skills and look forward to hosting many more challenges like this in 2016.

Hacka-MENA Challenge

Back in April Prototype's developers won the Hacka-MENA challenge for their application Heartping, which was showcased at the Milan expo earlier this year. Hacka-MENA is a social impact Hackathon that challenges technopreneurs to solve real-world problems in less than 72 hours. HeartPing is an app that is designed to notify medical professionals when their patients are having cardiac problems. The app is still in private beta but the team intends on taking it to the Dubai Health Authority about the future of the app. Congrats team!

Fastive App

In early summer we launched the Fastive App, an app that allows users to create instantly shareable greetings cards using their own pictures. Users can celebrate every event from Ramadan to Cinco de Mayo with this fun, easy-to-use app. The app was developed and launched by the Prototype team.

New showreel
