January 14, 2014

Every year, The Consumer Electronics show causes brands and consumers from all over the world to get excited about the latest and greatest in electronic products. This year didn't fail to impress. With everything from Google glass type contact lenses to thermal imaging phone cases, the future of electronic technology appears bright and very innovative. Here are our top faves from this year's show.

Panono Camera Ball:

This cool little device captures 360-degree images of your location from all angles. All you have to do is throw it like a ball and see what it manages to pick up. Definitely adds a different 'angle' to a simple game of catch.

Netamo's June Bracelet:

Whether you are a summer baby or not, we are all exposed to sunlight on a regular basis and understanding how this is damaging your skin is important. This helpful bracelet gadget monitors how much sun the user has had and gives advice about when to reapply sun cream and at what factor.

Kolibree Toothbrush:

This toothbrush is the first Internet-enabled toothbrush and compares and monitors your daily brushing habits. The toothbrush is linked to your smartphone and the data is collected and reported on your phone app. It even gives you additional tips so you can make sure you don't run into regular visits to the dentist.

The Goji Smart Lock:

This genius product takes out the middleman between you and accessing your home. With this technology you will no longer need keys to get inside your house. All you will need to do is tap your phone or use a fob and in you go. It also helps to relieve any anxiety you may have when you leave your home by sending you a text to tell you when the doors are activated.

LG HomeChat:

We saved the best for last with the LG HomeChat. Are you ready to start texting your home appliances to get them to do things for you whilst you are out? With the LG HomeChat, you can text your fridge to ask if you have any beer. You can tell your washing machine to start washing a load of laundry whilst you are in the supermarket. You can even order your robotic vacuum cleaner to stay tidying so your apartment or home is nice and clean when you arrive after a busy day at work. The future is here people!
